The first time Adam ever heard the words, "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Steve Martin?" he was 12!
Wanting something to fall back on if his dreams of being an electrical engineer fell through, Adam graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Theatre. Gray hair aside, the Steve Martin comparison has followed Adam through out his life as a comedian, actor, musician, and even as a waiter at Wolfgang Puck's Spago and the Ivy. This doppelganger effect led Adam to pursue a career as a stand up comic in LA, performing his own material.
He has had the good fortune to study clowning with Bill Irwin, Geoff Hoyle, and Carlo Mazzone-Clemente. Most recently, Adam collaborated with Rizorkestra on a clown piece called Debt: a Comedy Without Words. His memoir We Got a Bad Potato! about his years as a VIP waiter at Spago and the Ivy is nearing completion.
